One of the incidents
had happened at Fewa city hospital in Pokhara nepal on dated 2070/06/21. 76 years of
old women living at pokhara city was carrying in emergency ward due to leg
fractured by falling inside room with weak physical structure for treatment to
know whether it was fractured or not, the patient was consulted with Dr.
Rabindra shrestha, later he and his assistant doctor had deceiving to patient
and her concerned persons without good manner. We appeal to management for this
case and solve partially in matter.
Ø On
dated 2070/06/21, The orthopedic patient
“Linda” (imagine name) is living in
Pokhara valley had been handled by Dr. Rabindra shrestha, when patient was
admitted, Dr. sent his subordinate Dr. Dinesh to check the patient. It shows
that Dr. Rabindra is irresponsible doctor of fewa city because he never came to
see the patient.
Ø As
per instruction given by a doctor, a 5 liters water filling gallon and bandage
were used to straight the fractured leg, we were waiting doctor and nurse but
lately doctor came and did the straight the leg without proper guideline to us
so his subordinate was also irresponsible for this case.
Ø Dr.
Shrestha is totally money oriented person who interfere our personal decision,
he tried to rumor us to treat our patient, we met doctor, he directly ordered
to do operation of this leg and said 1 lakh
(100 thousand) was needed for the operation without saying any alternative
treatment process so it showed he is not responsible towards patient.
Ø We
also tried to take advice of Dr. Dinesh ,he said gallon and bandage were used
to straight the leg, we followed the same instruction, after 1 day, patient
could not bear the pain and we called dr. and nurse at that time , nurses
denied to see the patient in midnight.
Ø As
per our discussion with doctor, they had already said different and long
process of treatment of leg; the first process was to make straight the leg for
4 or 5 days. After that implant could be used to make straight it with proper
investigation of different test after that which would be good or not i.e.
whether implant or operation could be done as per test result. Doctor directly
ordered his assistant dr. to do the task in simply discussion with patient
related person.
Ø On
dated 2070/06/23, we decided to take out our patient and we went to doctor’s
room Dr. Shrestha directly interfere our personal matter and gave us pressure
to treatment at any rate in our hospital.
Ø While
discussing with doctor, they suggested using implant kept, he did not say about
process of keeping implant to make straight the leg. At that time we agreed to
do the task but we were unknown about drill of leg to set up. We were teased
and spell bounded for the treatment of fractured leg of old women.
Ø Dr.
shrestha and Dr. Dinesh have not good manner to speak with patient and their
concerned persons.
Ø Mostly
doctor Shrestha should forgive with us and he should take responsible about
drilled leg and possible infection matter.
At last we appeal to
all upcoming patients that, if anyone has health problem related to orthopedic never goes to fewa-city
hospital to treat with Dr. Rabindra shrestha, however other doctors are very
good with both manner and treatment case.
